Probably not too many police departments or other government agencies buying Wilson Combat products because of the cost, but just the same, Wilson has my full support. I ordered a Wilson 1911 on June 29, 2012. I should have it sometime between August 2013 and January 2014. Long wait. But this news makes the wait even more worthwhle.

Wilson is one of my favorite manufacturers. I swapped out all my 1911 mags for Wilson, and a Wilson 1911 is on the agenda in the next year or so.

Looks like the custom 870's won't be going to SWAT if their supervisors don't have a change of mind. Wilson won't miss much sales of 1911's but could be hurt by lost of shotgun sales.
