Wilson Combat or Power Mags

Looking to pick up a few quality magazines for both 9mm and 45 1911's which are best and where is the best p!ace to order them?

Both? Lol I like to,buy them from the arfcom EE but I did get new ones from brownells last time.

Get on Wilson's mailing list, they sell them at a discount from time to time. The EE is a good place as well.

I own CMC mags. They are affordable and just simply work very very very well in my 1911s. I do own a couple WC 7 round rebuild kits that I put in some old CMC Stainless flush tubes. They have been loaded for over 5 years now and are still strong and function 100%.

I just have no reason to buy WC 8rounders when my CMC power mags work just as well for less. I do own some ACT and MecGar 8 rounders and they function 100%. If you have the money than go for it.

I have several CMC 10 rd mags. They have been great but a few are in need of kits. Of the 24 I have maybe 4 are showing signs.

In my opinion WC is one of the best mags available.

I use Wilson mags exclusively. They can be taken apart easily for cleaning and spring/follower replacement.

I prefer Wilson Combat mags personally, though my 10 round CMC Power Mag is nice too

I prefer the Wilson magazine, I don't care for the followers in the CMCs.

I can vouch for Wilson's 10 round mag. Good stuff.

Wilson 47D & ETM and CMC Power Mag & Power Mag+ should function 100% in any 1911 that is in good working order. If any of those four types of mags doesn't work, then it's likely there is a problem with the gun itself.
