I am trying to find a nice red letter. My father talked about that being his first shotgun and I want to put one in my collection. No preference as to the gauge. I may try and assemble a whole collection over the years. IM me please.

    Thanks

I've got one but it's not for sale. The one I have belonged to my grandfather. These guns were not fancy/high dollar guns. If you look on gunbroker, gunsamerica, or gunsinternational you'll find some and be able to get a feel for the market. Good luck in your search.

do you have to have a red letter? it only means it was built from 1937 to 1948, after that they eliminated the winchester name under the receiver, otherwise exact same gun.
