This particular knife was grumpy to me and called me bad names.. I think that counts nowadays right?

I believe that may come from being constantly told during their impressionable years that the universe revolves around them. Upon reaching adulthood (questionable) they face a rude awakening that the universe does not, as a matter of fact, revolve around them. A few years back a widow turned in a few of her deceased husbands fire arms to the local pd. She did not know what an original Thompson was, or what it was worth. He owned it legally. Bought it back when you could just mail order the things. Forget what it went for at auction, as I could not afford it so I did not pay much attention to it. Maybe 30k or so.
