It's good that they are doing something. We live in a world where, when the SHTF (any kind of S), any plan is better than no plan. And, a plan which has not be practiced and refined is of little value. Some people like to call this prepping!

Former Bear Walter Payton lived in Barrington...And he had a pistol range in his basement. He used to have the guys from the BPD over shooting quite often.

Walter once accidently shot an employee at his Studebaker Club. The guy was OK. He actually lived in South Barrington. Mike Singletary also lived in the area. There is a strip of the Barrington school district in Carpentersville which is a low-moderate income area. Must not be fun for those kids to be mixed in with kids from very affluent families.

I thought it was going to be more of the run, hide, fight as a last resort nonsense but it didn't really even mention staff training much. Sounds like it was more for police which is equally as useless. Useless might be a strong word though as it's probably decent training and training is good, just not really applicable to the real world. If you want to run a realistic school shooter drill then all you need are fire, EMS, and crime scene techs, they're the only ones who will have a major job to do. The police can mill around outside with their rifles and helmets though, it always makes good tv.
