Work sharp blade grinder attachment ?

Is there any real $80 worth of benifit to this accessory? Seems like I could pretty easily do the same thing on the regular belt? Maybe bolt the grinder on the Bench at 20 degrees and still hold the blade horizontal? Any thoughts?

It's just bigger and better belts made for more hadle shaping and actually grinding metal away which would take lots of time with the smaller belts. I have it and personally love it. But if all your trying to do is sharpen blades there is no real need for it.
