World Of Firepower Magazine - Ex-Recoil

Just picked up the very first issue of World Of Firepower at the local Meijer. I'm pretty sure it is taking over where Recoil left off. The pictures are nice. The articles are pretty boring. It seems chopped up and really dumbed-down.

Anyone else pick it up yet?

I got one the other day. It looks the same, but isn't produced by the same people or company as far as I can tell. Looks like they just copied recoil's format. Even feels the same with the rough texture. I think it was $9.99

Just curious that if they are indeed trying to take the place of Recoil, that they are competitive in price.

I'm curious as to what leads you to believe this is 'picking up where recoil left off'. Does it have ex-Recoil staffers?

To my knowledge Recoil is continuing to publish magazines, and frankly the layout of that cover isn't near the quality of work that the folks at Recoil put out.
