Worst part of 2011 for you?

Financially struggled all of last year, found out my dad is going deaf (he loves his banjo), Obama got elected...

Good thing is we're all healthy and Amelia was born in oct.

Needless to say, a lot of people are glad 2011 is over, myself included.

2012 can and will be better, sometimes you just have to find the silver linings.

2011 found some closure for me on my health issues. Without going into details I will not be doing as many shows as before and eventually I will stop doing shows altogether. Brad will eventually take over my knives.
After reading the stories on here many of you are in my prayers.

I hope 2012 will be a much better year for us all.

Worst part of 2011 is that punk obama is still president

That would have been yesterday. Last Monday my 12 year old son had a golf ball sized tumor removed from his brain stem. He developed a lung infection and almost died when his lungs collapsed. He is better now but has a very long way to go. 2012 will be tough, but we will make it through. He is a fighter.

He was asking me just last week when I could take him to the range to learn to shoot the handgun.

I will keep you, your son and the doctors in my prayers.

A year of mixed blessings for my family. My husband diagnosed with cancer and then following surgery a blood clot in his leg. My son got a job. Two main events for us.

To all of you who have lost loved ones in 2011 my prayers go out to you. I lost my Dad to cancer in 2009 and in many ways I miss him more than ever today.

Best word I can put to 2011 is "suck", even though I didn't have it as bad as some of you. Tell ya what, though, things are looking up for me already. Hope they do for all of you, too.
