    Hit the target faster then the other guy
    Don't run out of ammo
    Be very lucky.
    It worked for me in the steel plate shoots....with a 1928 Thompson

    USPSA and IDPA don't. Steel challenge does. I'm not sure about bullseye pistol.

    NRA Bullseye pistol has matches for smallbore pistol. I shoot a S&W 41 with an Ultradot red dot. I like shooting steel matches more than bullseye.
    No place close by anymore.

    I'm with the others, show up for matches and if you hear giggling behind you, start asking questions. Plenty of folks will be more than happy to help you.
