Read this blog post. I can't repost the images here because they would likely be considered pornographic. They are images taken by a full body scanner and then "cleaned up" in Photoshop.

The Humble Libertarian: TSA's Naked Body Scans Are Even Worse Than You Imagined (NSFW)

Now think about having a 14 year old daughter and waking up to the horror one day that her images are all over the internet.

    Quote from the blog:

UPDATE: Now that I seem to be getting a lot of links to this post, let me please direct your attention to the second comment in the comment thread below. The commentator points out that the image below is not an actual TSA-created scan, but a stock image that Mr. Drudge used to illustrate his story. I have independently verified this. While this makes the story here less sensational, it does not make the TSA's scanners any less invasive, outrageous, ineffective, or unconstitutional.

According to the link it was determined after posting the blog the image is in fact a stock photo photoshopped to look like a TSA image.

It makes the issue of TSA scanners no less acceptable and TSA groping and molesting no less criminal, but want to make sure there are no misunderstandings.

Honestly once these photos were proven to be a fraud the entire blog should have been taken down. At least the photos should have been removed. It makes me question the motives of the auther of the blog (not you full auto).

What I find entertaining about the whole thing is that they keep claiming they don't record the images. . . .seems to me like they are going to have to reproduce said images as evidence in court if a case against an attempted terror plot were to go to trial. They don't store the images. . . . . . . I'm calling shennanigans!!!

Well, I can't speak for TSA, but the US Marshals at a court house were caught with over 35K of stored images recently. The website Gizmodo got their hands on about 100 of them via a FOID and caught them out in a lie. I have no doubt that the perverts at TSA are storing and taking images home for further "investigations".

I've also heard interviews on the radio where TSA officials have said that they keep a small number of images "for training purposes" but then later delete them. Of course "training" is ambiguous as is the number of images they keep, and how long they keep them (or how many copies are made).

we all need to eliminate this technology from being used on Americans or any human in airports. if they wanna use it in prisons then fine, thats acceptable and wise. but no FREE person should be forced to go through this. and it IS being forced upon us. some people MUST fly in their daily lives. flying is not a priviledge, it is now a right. Americans NEVER give up their rights to be safe (or be promised a false sense of security), our rights are not to be taken away by any man. The government are the ones taking away rights as they see fit and they have no authority to do so. WE THE PEOPLE have not and cannot give that authority to do so to them. It would be like giving permission for someone to take your soul.
The government is letting the people down. no, the government is oppressing the people. The government is overstepping its authority by stepping on the chest of Lady Liberty. We cant breath, Freedoms light is distancing and growing dim, we must rise against this oppressive force cloked in the robe of liberty. BEWARE OF FALSE PATRIOTS! and anytime the government tells you they must take away your rights to make you safe, stand up against it. Its simply a lie.
I will not give up my right to privacy to a illigitimant government overstepping its lended authority, and I will not be intimidated by goons of the crown. If terrorist want to attack us then let them show their faces and we shall spill their blood in the streets

also, the TSA has had more instances of threatening our security around airlines than joe public. the TSA gives a false sense of security. even with their body scanners and molestations, the airlines are very vulnerable for attack. its not any safer to fly now than it was before 9/11

I think that may be a faked image. In one of the other "TSA" threads I posted a link to another image that is more accurate. I'd have much rather used the image of this healthy young lady, than the overweight man in the images I used. However, I think (and I could be wrong) someone just took a low-res, black-and-white photo, and made a negative of it. In the image I used as an example, you can actually see the bones that are close to the person's skin -- lower leg, forearm, face, etc.. That is what you'd expect from an imaging machine that is essentially a low-power x-ray.

One thing for certain... The image that the DHS publishes is a complete fake:

+1 and repped. With the following caveat.

I disagree that you have a right to fly. There are many conditions where your flying priviliges can and should be suspended. The standard I would use is have you behaved in some way that makes you a threat to the successful completion of the flight. If the answer is yes, then your priviliges can be limited. Otherwise, you should be allowed to pass.

Even without a right to fly, you have a right to privacy that should preclude the use of this type of technology against you if you have not demonstrated any threat.

Here's an interesting question. Say that you have someone that you believe could be a threat. Is it better to deny boarding or is it OK to use the body scanner or enhanced molestation in order for that single passenger to proceed?
