    I would absolutely take 1 fantastic centerfire rifle + top notch scope over a handful of "lesser" rifles. Make mine .308, please.

    And again, I would absolutely take 1 top shelf 1911 over a handful of "lesser" handguns. However, to me, my "grail" 1911 (from a guy who isn't a 1911 fan!) is a Dan Wesson CBOB 9mm...

    I've been slowly trading off quantity for qualify over the past several years. Not including heirloom guns I'm down to one bolt gun, one AR15 and a couple of Glock pistols. At one time I had 16 pistols, five AR15 rifles and four bolt action rifles.

    I have also been paring down "quantity" for "quality". Of course, quality is in the eye of the beholder on certain things. :D
