Wow.... Open carry with a suppresser....

Ok I do not post much, however I was JUST at marathon off southport and bluff maybe 10 minutes ago and I saw a guy open carrying what looked to be a sig of some sort with a suppresser (or FAKE suppresser, which is even... Never,ind). Just wondering if that's normal or if you have ever seen?? Certainly not normal around here...

Now I really wanna get a suppressor.My holster is open at the muzzle end and I'd have to holster and then thread on the suppressor,but how awesome would I look?

Are you sure he wasn't an assassin of some sort? I see that a lot in movies, and the guns are more quiet than my daisy pellet gun.

Or maybe he was on his way from/to the range and it's what he was using/carrying as opposed to not carrying because it might look scary.

Personally, I feel like the thoughtfulness of a guy who cares about the hearing of bystanders, himself and the perp in a self-defense shooting should be lauded.

By the way, I learned on INGO that open carriers are never into it to be seen, so that can't be it.

Some times if you are defending a third person when a mob attacks, you don't want them to immediately know your firing position. The crowd will likely believe they all had bad tacos next door and came down with a belly ache at the same time. I recommend the rifle though, it is more accurate at a longer distance.
