    I got rid of it 10-12 years ago when we stopped off roading all the time. It was off road only, so it wasn't practical to keep it. Now I have a 2015 JKU Rubicon hard rock edition.

    That's an awesome TJ! I'm surprised you haven't upgraded the D30 though. Has it given you any issues with the 36s?

    I did break an original front outer shaft (driver's side) once, before putting in the upgraded axle shafts all the way around. The D30 (and really D44) is horribly undersized for the bias ply 36s.

    I'm looking to build stronger assemblies and stretch the wheelbase a bit. GM 14 bolt rear and D60 front is the wish.

    As you know, axle assemblies aren't cheap. In retrospect, I should have upgraded axles long ago, but these units keep plugging along. They have survived wheeling all over the US since 1998...Ouray, CO, Moab UT, NC, KY, MO, TN, IL, IN, MI, etc.
