WTB: .308 Rifle

I came across a heck of a deal on a case (minus one box) of Federal Gold Match .308 at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago, which resparked my interest in adding a .308 to the collection.

So, looking for a .308. Bolt action or battle, guess I'm open to what may be out there. Looking for two things: Works good (no problem rifles please), and nice price.

Anybody have anything before I start spending serious time hitting all the local shops and any nearby shows?

Hey scully...got to thinking...so you won't have to worry about finding ammo, just sell me your .308

Many more...I think he/she may be not thinking outside the box and are thinking of your standard handgun, when it is really a mini-rifle...Like this one.

A .308 would be a bit to handle in a handgun.

Even though the XP-100 ain't long.

I appreciate the thoughts on a .308 handgun...but really looking for a rifle. Not sure I could be accurate out to a few hundred yards with a pistol

I actually ordered one of these directly from Vector for a customer.
Not my cup of Tea but the fit and finish were Excellent.
He intends to turn it into a SBR.

They also make a nice .308 Rifle.
I have their price list for anyone interested.
They have an 8 week lead time but if you got the funds it's worth the wait.
