WTB - Sagia 12ga. "AK-style"

Been thinkin' about buying a Sagia 12 that's all dolled-up like an AK. Shorter the barrel, the better. Something along this line:

Other than the up-coming 1500, anybody got a line on one of these?

There are a few places online but they are ridiculous, like $900-$1400. You could buy the basic shotgun for $500 and spend another $100-$200 for the stock, pistol grip conversion. Total price with conversion yourself around $650. Here are some links.

Look on gunbroker

They have tons of them with different modifications etc... converted guns ranging from 900-2000 whatever you want. You can get an idea of what you want there. There are many different people who do the conversions and will build to your liking. I held out and spent the 1500.00 but also got 2 drum mags and 4 10 round mags. I bought mine off of a guy on glock talk's firearms section. If your patient you will find a new one fully converted with extra stuff like I did. Be patient or bite the bullet and buy new. My saiga rocks and is incredibly fun to shred stuff with. I really pity the animal or person that is ever on the receiving end of one of these. Good luck.

FYI, you can't own a SAIGA shotgun with a shortened barrel in Indiana...

Try LE firearms down on south Shelby near Garfield Park. That had some last time I was in, but that has been awhile ago.

The shortest factory Saiga-12 barrel length is 19", so you could shorten it an inch.

My brother is hard up for money and may be wiling to sell his ( unconverted) saiga 12 with 2- 5 rd, and 2-10 ( maybe 12 round) mags for $550.

Well Classic arms is out of stock with a price of $499, add shipping and FFL fees you will be over 550, and only have one magazine.

Correct, but at least its brand new. You can find the gun and mags cheaper at other places, just posted a quick one. Rather pay a little for new anyway.
