I'm looking for a SA .45 "WW11" style pistol. Since there are so many variations of this model I'll just say I'm looking for one that comes as close to what was issued back in the day. SA has a couple of models that are copies of the M1911A1...Would also consider a Rock Island Armory model.

I'm retired Army, 1978-02, and had the M1911A1 as my issued weapon before the 9mm came along...

Secondly, I might be interested in any XD model in .45 as a CC. ...thinking about CC'ing again...like the .45 etc.

Well, I found a LNIB Rock Island GI model at 2nd Amendment Guns in Whitestown. Seem like a nice bunch. I had been in that shop a couple of times before but they just got the RIA .45 in on a trade.
