WTHR shooter drill?

WTHR is having some "active shooter drill" on their news cast in a few minutes. I'm wondering how this is going to turn out...

Ok, so it seems as if the hospital is using this as an opportunity to train on how to deal with an active shooter in a hospital. This is not only for police, but hospital workers as well, and they're using fake wounds for the "victims" of the shooter.

They're saying that they've had this planned for several months, but the timing isn't lost on people.

Supposedly a vacated hospital on the southside, so perhaps no patrons.

Beech Grove hospital. It's an empty ER now so MESH and SWAT is setting it up. Should be pretty cool but we were not notified as physicians that it was happening so I'm not really sure who they are trying to train. Supposedly ED staff.

I think it's a Mass Casualty drill for both LEOs and emergency responders.

Yeah kinda funny they also had a state house shooter drill last week and it was also "planned." Who knows I am glad they are educating everyone but still if you OC or CC and have had training you will be the #1 defense in any situation.

They should go shoot sometime with three friends. When they use 500 rounds of ammo maybe it'll sink in
