The HD (home defense) isn't a title from Remington. I was just including that in the title being that it is what I built the gun for. It is just a standard Remington 870 Express Magnum 18" barrel and a +2 extension.

So does it hold 5 rounds in the magazine or 7? because in one of the pictures it looks like a normal magazine...maybe without the plug.

The picture just ends shy of the extension.
