I have an earlier model Ruger SP101. I have been told it was part of a semi- limited run that will only accomodate the shorter 125 grain magnums. I have never tried to see if 158 grain'ers are too long, but if it matters to you I can check. Would consider trading for a Smith 642 or similar, Smith 24, or .22 for the lady, or....? I have no particular reason to get rid of this gun, it works fine, low round count, etc. But, if someone is interested in one, I would consider horse trading, or possible outright sale.
