    Last photo, to the right of the 9. That looks a lot like the Arisaka "9" on the receiver bridge. Which means, 9 9 Type. Or what we call a Type 99. Because we don't read backwards.

    I haven't looked at these. There's some Japanese ordinance collectors that post things on forums. Imagine that, there's forums you can post on about your hobbies. Where do you sign up for that?

    Wow! I've downloaded a ton of pdf's from that guy now. From what I see the "+" indicates the grains within are within standard range. The "plus with a stickman leg and funny foot" indicates the number of grains.

    I'll screenshot the applicable pics in a bit.
