X-37B Launch Scheduled for 8:07 PM Tonight

This mysterious spacecraft was written about here when it debuted back in 2010. The US Space Force is launching it again tonight. Seems things are heating up as China launched a similar vehicle recently. Fingers crossed for a successful mission (whatever it may be):

It seems there’s speculation that the X-37B may be headed to the Moon or even Mars. I don’t think anyone outside the military knows what its capabilities are. As Mr. Spock would say, “fascinating…”.

1. My in-laws are in New Smyrna,FL and will have a nice view of the launch

And 2, my son is in the Space Force involved somehow with the launches but he can’t tell me anything.

Probably not, but the full Falcon Heavy has IIRC a good deal more lift capability than the base X37B. So being mated to a larger upper stage for a trip out to geosynchronous is not out of the question.
