I really like mine. After a few trips to the range it became my new EDC. No problems with it as long as you don't ride the slide closed.

is the 45c have a really snappy because of the caliber or is it pretty easy to handle still?

I have a XDM 40 and will pick up a XD subcompact 40 this fall. I love my Xdm 40 no pic but it is a good hand gun.

I really like mine (XD9 4-Inch) but I'm going to get something else for EDC. It's very reliable and I'm as accurate with it as I am with anything else, but it has one fatal flaw. The slide can't be racked without the grip safety being depressed, making one handed operation a lot more difficult.
