I would expect anyday now. You can always scour your favorite online shops (KYgunco, buds, impactguns, etc) to see if/when they show in stock -- or of course, ask locally. It seems like when new guns ship for the first time, everyone is a bit unsure and pleasantly surprised when they show up. It always seems to be a guessing game until they hit the shelves.

Just saw on facebook they announced that it is shipping. They are usually pretty fast from when they say shipping to when we actually see them at the stores.

Highsmith ordered me one of the 3.3's for their rental case. It shoots well, but it's a lot to keep on target. I'd really like to get my hands on one of those 4's. I ended up buying another XDM in 3.8 flavor out of impatience anyways. But I can see the XDS being my backup. :)

Had the 9mm version in my hands today at Midwest. They also had the 45. Priced at $450 for both calibers IIRC. Not bad in the hand at all.
$450 would be a damn good price if that's accurate.

Knowing MW I can't see them selling XDs for less than $600

FYI, I believe the "normal" price for the XDS at Midwest is $519.00, so apparently you don't know Midwest as well as you thought.

Midwest is having a huge sale on several manufacturers (Springfield, Smith, Rock River). Prices are lower than I have ever seen ANYONE sell for - even online.
