XD-S mod.2 Trigger. It sucks. What do?

I want to like this little RMSc cut single stack .45 so badly. Feels good in the hand and doesn’t weigh a ton. D

I’ve done what I can to smooth out the contact points and it’s better, but I feel like I can now feel/hear the striker spring creaking and groaning through the pull like it’s bound up in its tunnel.

I pick up a Taurus and wish the Springfield could have that nice a trigger. Sad to say.

Is the full Powder River Precision kit worth it? Should I get just springs?

Save money and live with it because it doesn’t get much better?

I have the powder river in mine and it really makes a BIG difference.
Get the whole kit.

MY opinion: Don't throw more good money after bad. Beware the sunk-cost fallacy.

Springs will help, a full kit will definitely take care of it.
