Without giving away my location, here is a 1/4 of the yard and the pumkin patch, the pumpkin plants will grow to be huge, even growing out of the garden area into the yard, they look pretty cool come early fall.
Nice punkin' patch! I remember growing really big pumpkins one year when I was a kid. The vines went nuts and we had pumpkins "growing" in our pine trees!
I'll be back in 2017 when I finally get control of my yard. I just bought a house that the previous owners just let go for the last 5-10 years. I have as much under and overgrowth as untouched woods have!
This is usually my 2nd favorite time of year for my yard. When it turns that lovely shade of brown I enjoy so much. All this damn rain and it's growing like i put fertilizer on it or something.
Here's a pic of my favorite time of year for lawn care...
Yeah, I hate to mow. I hate to weed-whack. I hate to spray for weeds, bugs...
Finally had a nice day for a picture. Panoramic taken from my deck (that is the rail you see - it is actually straight). Today, this is doubling as my "office". Kicking it on the deck with a cold soda and my laptop.
