Democrats in Wisconsin are circulating legislation to ban civilian possession of hollow point or frangible ammunition.

A Democratic state senator and three Democratic state representatives have circulated draft legislation that would ban civilian possession of hollow point or frangible ammunition. According to existing Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources regulations, sportsmen and women in Wisconsin must use such ammunition when hunting deer or bear. The Democratic lawmakers, two of whom are freshman, all hail from urban districts in the City of Milwaukee.​

I think you've just touched on our silver lining, Expat. With the recent spate of attacks on our 2A rights, the dems have broken away from their traditional "boiling frog" methodology. These emboldened, full-frontal attacks should serve to jar all gun owners wide awake and remove any and all doubt from the fence-sitters. THE DEMS WANT TO BAN ALL GUNS!!! It's not just your M4 or your 12 round magazine. If it fires a projectile using a rapidly burning propellant, they know you can't be trusted with it! This has absolutely nothing to do with common sense, school children, "saving even one life" or any of the other catchphrases they've trotted out over the last two months. This is about total disarmament of the American populace and revocation of the 2nd Amendment to the US Constitution!

The fight is here, ladies and gentlemen. That future state we've worried over for years? It's here. We are waist deep in an epic battle for one of the cornerstones of this great country and if it's lost, so goes the Republic.

But, they know that the voters have a short memory, so I bet their plan is to simply not discuss guns in election season. It is happily harming the Democrat brand en masse. What the Dems are doing is making Wayne LaPierre look less paranoid, and more and more like a wise sage, and strengthening the NRA.

Maybe Obama has done Republicans a huge favor by unchaining the liberal agenda. I mean, the foolish voters didn't know what liberalism was, nor did they care, but now they know without a doubt. They are learning the hard way that tax and spend liberals do not offer liberty, and hard lessons take a lot longer to forget.

Thats the main reason to use that type of ammo...to keep from hitting someone or goiing through a wall!

They'll probably be the ones iwth their finger on the trigger in front of the senate as well as they show off the scary guns.
