It was Fox's carrier that was the issue. It was straight OC but the liquid carrier was essentially brake cleaner. That is why it melted plastic and was really hard on the eyes they were sprayed into.

Oh yes, now I remember. I had completely forgotten. Mrs. Raskolnikov carries pepper spray daily (we're still working on finding her a gun she's comfortable with). I bought her Sabre. I almost reached for the Fox Spray at the cop shop, but I didn't want her spraying someone, melting his face, and then being accused of using deadly force. Now that I know that, a can of Fox is in store. Thanks for the reminder!
