YHM Iron Sight Problem

Shot my new AR for the first time today. The YHM iron sights front and back have to be retightened every so often because they become loose. Anyone else have this problem or should I just tighten them as hard as I can? Perhaps it just needs to be broken in on the rails.

I've had mine on for over 1.5 years and they've never came loose. Hmmm

tighten them with a flat head (if they have the necessary slot)...that's what it's there for.....if that doesn't work you can alway apply a SINGLE drop of BLUE loctite thread locker....

I'll try tightening them as much as I can and hopefully that'll do the trick.

dont tighten them as tight as you can. use a drop of locktite blue then tighten so its firmly in place.

I used Teflon tape, just a little will take care of a lot

Mine have never loosened, but +1 for blue loctite, I have used it on numerous scope rings and even if you have to take it off it's no big deal.
