I got a surprising reaction today when I was talking to a guy from work on the phone today when I expressed excitement over my new S&W M&P 38 special, postwar model. Its a solid shooter, good reliable round, and one of my favorite guns that has joined my collection. He was absolutely flabbergasted that a youngin like me had a love for wheelguns. So that being said, where are the other young 20 somethings at that carry and love our wheelguns?

I do likes me some wheel guns, but sonny, I ain't been "20 something" for better than 30 years now.

Then again, who cares? I've always said,

Age is mostly a matter of mind. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter.

I don't own one, but I'm seriously considering a lightweight .38 for conceal carry. The only thing stopping me is my ever lasting quest for the ever elusive CZ Rami DB 9mm :(

I'm 24 years old, and my EDC is a Ruger Gp100 and a S&W 642. An interesting note, according to my GP100's serial number, it was made in 1988, the same year I was born.

I carry most autos, but I do love a good revolver. Unfortunately ended up parting with a few, but still got my goodies:

    S&W Model 19-3
    S&W Regulation Police
    Webley-Scott Mk IV

Recently rediscovered the comforting feel of a 4" S&W 65-2 tucked into my belt when I grabbed it to go to breakfast with Wednesday morning. Had gotten away from it to carry a SR40c but...just plain felt better with the .357 with me.

I still have a couple years left as a "20 something". I started out as a semi-auto only guy, but I fell in love with the GP100 I purchased two years ago. It will not be my last wheel gun, I would really like to have a j-frame.

I'm 25, and a Ruger LCR .357 is in my pocket or on my person more often than almost any other gun I own.

Ive also got a S&W 4" Highway Patrolman that used to be my uncles

And a S&W 686+ that is my woods gun.

    I've always wanted a Ruger .357 Blackhawk.

Plenty of wheelgun love from me.

My daughter dearly loves shooting my S&W 66. So much so, that her boyfriend bought her one of her own. She is 22, and an ER trauma nurse. :)

I love my revolver, but it isn't something I want to carry. I have a 6 inch model 19-3.

If I could get a model 13 with a 3 inch barrel, I'd have it on me every day.
(If anyone wants to let go of theirs, let me know)

This picture reminds me, for some reason, of my Grandfather.

And I have to ask, Does a man really need anything more than this for EDC?

Thanks for that nice little memory. My grandfather died when I was very young and the content of his pockets would've been very similar on any given day.
