My truck plates are up for replacement this year... I've always thought about getting personalized plates. I'm thinking about "45 FTW".

Although I think it's neat to have a custom plate, I refuse to pay more tax than I have to. I just renewed mine a few weeks ago and just got the standard issued ones.

I've thought about getting a custom plate sometime. But one of my thoughts on it is its another way to draw more attention from cops as well as thieves. I just make sure to click on the option to get the "In God We Trust" plates and go with that for now.

Might wanna stay out of Gary?

Does anyone actually think they would issue this plate to me if I reserve it?

    No Government Assistance, Please?

I also put this one in, just in case my other one is denied for next year:

    PlateImage.aspx

EDIT: I put the "description of plate #" as No Government Assistance, Please. I guess if I really get the plate I'll have to leave my windows rolled up all the time.

Must be cuz it says "shoot" ... zero tolerance, and all that.

An acquaintance of mine had a "COLT M16" plate for several years... when he went to renew a few years ago, they denied it. He complained long and loud, and finally contacted his State Representative, who complained to the head of the BMV. His request was approved, but only after the renewal deadline had passed, so he had to go with something else, at least for awhile. I believe he's got it back now, though.

I'd take MAC ATAC, INGO MOD or SHTR 521, although the latter might invite folks to insert the wrong vowel... ;)

I don't think I'd voluntarily give the gov't extra cash for a vanity plate. I tend to not put any stickers on the back of my car, either. I don't want people to know I may have a gun locked in the glovebox if I'm at work or in a *gasp* no gun zone. Like the BMV.
