This is Harley
Just got her a couple weeks ago. I think she is lab mix anybody could tell me possibly what she is mixed with? She is 7 months old.
By the way RelicHound that picture of your dog Maxx is crackin me up.
he's got that "ummm nummy" look on his face in that first pic. neat pup!
you wont have to do much to make him territorial as hes a dog..dogs are very territorial,its his home he will protect it and his masters if need be. the worst thing anyone can do is train a dog to attack or even to be intimidating. let him bark at folks who come to the door and train him to "allow" people in if you invite them in. my dogs will go nuts at someone at the door but will relax and go lay down as soon as I say "come in". all I want my dogs to do is alert me to someones presence. but its your pup and you can train him as you see fit
Here Is GIZ, Jasper, & Woozel. Sadly they have all passed. but great little fellows.
the house comedian {Maxx}
I see where I may have spelled more than I meant there.
I just want him to put his foot down a bit more. He does bark when someone is at the door but isn't a fierce fella quite yet. I'm not looking for a super aggresive dog but rather a stern "Your not coming in till I say so". If someone is in the house that I or my fiance has let in I don't want the "intruder" to leave without a piece of something missing. Hopefully, that explains my initial post a bit better.
I'm sure you have seen the K9's intimidating stance, "If you let me go, I'll get him" I want to have control over this action/emotion however. And make sure it is nothing more than a simple command like sit, stay or lay.
Bailey is about 4 months old in this pic, she's now about 6 months old
