    INGO Chop-In October 26th, 2013

Have any questions or suggestions ask here.

We will have the chopping/cutting competition setup again this year, and the throwing target setup, so bring your Choppers, folders, hawks, and steel to show and tell.

I would like to get some suggestions for smaller knife challenges, bushcraft, slicing, snare sets, :dunno:

The Chop-In will take place at my home in western Morgan County and we will start at 10am. We will have a pitch in lunch again this year, please bring a chair and folding table if you can.

I will pm directions when we get closer to the event date.

I am a really good axeman. I just lack the ability to keep at it now a days as the pain in my back tends to stop me short of a tree of any size. I am still a lot better than most hitting what I want to with it so I don't waste any chops. With that said will there be axe chopping or just hawks and knives? I suppose I could always bring a Himalayan Imports Khuk and take it down as well... :)

How far will this be from Terre Haute? If I can make it I am in.

I'd also like to point out that this is the day after my birthday so feel free to bring me any gifts you feel are necessary. :ingo:

Warthog your welcome to bring an axe, the chopping competition is limited to knives though. I don't think the table would survive an axe! :lmfao:

We are on the west side of Morgan County just south of Interstate 70

Then it is a Khukuri... I have plenty of them too and they cop like the dickens.

It sounds like an easy drive at least. I will LYK when I know how far it actually winds up being.

Dave I knew you loved me! that is my first saturday off. Hell yeah I'm in to defend my second place titles lol!! and mainly to give QUE another good ole fashion butt whipping :)

Talk trash now, because when the sun rises on October 26th and your blood begins to... that sounded better in my head.

Darn that looks like a fine family outing, at least for the guys in the family. Nice to see the younger people there to learn from their Dads.

I wish I could make events like this one, but my body isn't working good right now. I love the woods.
