Can I attend if I don't compete? I'm new to the knives world. All I have are a few (relatively) cheap pocket knives. Well, I do have a Gerber BG Paracord fixed blade, lol. Anyway, I'd love to hang out with some guys who really know knives and see what I can learn.

Oh I'll have a Busse or three! And you're welcome to use anyone, as is anyone else (except for Westside because he breaks things for a living)!

Those Kershaw Outcasts do pretty well, ask Simon6101.

We will run the chopping competition pretty much the same as past years, so you will have a couple 2x4's, tennis ball, golf ball, water bottles, dowel rod, foam pipe insulation, and Manila rope. I'm going to change up the scoring a little to even up the odds and give an advantage to those that have their knife sharp! :D so don't be the dull guy at the party! :joke:

    FIFY.

    ^^^Like a boss.

Might have to grab the Breeden and make it out there this year, since I missed last.

    (compared to a ESEE 5)

1/4" thick and plenty sharp. Should make quick work of some 2x4s
