A buddy of mine heard from a friend that there is a limit to the number of rounds you can carry in a clip. Anyone have a link to this? I think his buddy is full of crap.

Yeah thats what I thought too. You have a link to the gun laws here so I can rub it in his face? :D
There's no law to link to, because it's not illegal to have a large capacity magazine. If it were illegal then someone could link to something, but since it's not there is nothing to link to.

I've only seen clips that hold 5,6,8 or 10 rounds, any more then 10 on a stripper clip is going to be hard to load IMO :dunno:

I can only get 8 rounds to fit in my M1 clips. ;)

He's probably talking about magazine capacity. No limit in Indiana.

His buddy is full of it. Ask him to cite a code which makes it illegal.

I can only fit 10 rounds in the clips for my SKS.

If you are speaking about magazines ( :D a little clip/magazine naziism for you) I can only carry 16 rounds in the mags for my XD9.

South Bend has a city ordinance on the books limiting standard-capacity magazines to 10 rounds or less. However, statewide pre-emption makes that law moot. That may be what your friend was referring to.
