Progressives do. They're the ones that are really beating the drums to get her to run in 2012. It's a great strategy, too. There's an outside chance she could win in a primary, but she'll never be able to beat Obama and would insure that he gets a 2nd term. Of course, there aren't any other decent gop candidates on map right now, anyway. If she's the best hope of the gop then we're doomed to a 2nd four years of Obama.

Nope, not me. I lost all respect for her when she quit the job the people elected her to do in Alaska. Of course, after she lost with McCain, I didn't want her to run in 2012 anyway since she's seen as a political used-up has-been with a lot of baggage to just about every one but a small percentage of the conservatives. Damaged goods are not what we need at the helm.

Pence for Pres! (It has such a ring to it)

Hey - we gave first black a chance and we all have seen how that worked out - might as well give a shot to the first woman president - she can't screw things up any worse than B Hussein O

I agree with Scutter, what a dumb comment.

What is your excuse on the horrible job Bush did?

I certainly lean towards the right side of it, I voted for Bush. But that doesn't mean I cant see the forest through the trees. I am certainly no Obama fan, but its kind of hard to clean up an 8 year long mess in an hour. Now I wont argue that instead of starting the cleanup Obama isn't adding to the pile lol.

The people I see wetting their pants at the prospects of the run are leftists and anarchists. Since both groups are dedicated to the overthrow of our nation and government, I kind of look to what gets them fired up. In this case, a Palin run scares them silly, so that makes it good for this country.

while she has some good view points on some things she would never win the election so if she got nominated the gop would just be giving the election to whoever ran against her

Why is race or gender relevant?

Race and Gender should not be relevant to anyone with the intellectual depth to look past the surface.

Don't get me wrong about this because I really like Palin. I like that she was a normal everyday person and got into politics to fix things and I think that's why she relates so well to the TEA Party. However, I just don't think she's right for that job and she wouldn't be my first choice. I think Palin is an excellent cheerleader for the cause, but just not what I'd ideally want to be President.

I'd rather see Chris Cristie run for President. He'd get my vote hands down.

    So who could best Obama?

I still think that it didn't matter who the Republicans ran against last election because of Bush's dismal performance in his second term the Democrats could have ran just about anybody and won.

if he has skeletons they are burried deap. He is fiscaly responsible. a proven leader that expects results. as pro-gun as we can expect for a republican. id vote for him. Indiana is in the black. other states are in the red. id vote for him just because i dont have to wait in line anymore at the BMV, lol. imagine what he could do for veterans benefits.

He'd be a strong candidate as well.

I believe the next 6-8 months will mold our next candidate and that we have yet to see a clear front-runner. Daniels, with his parties domination of the Indiana political House and Senate and his desire to "fix" things, will be in the national spot light. atch for him to be real aggressive. Ron Paul, with his history of being critical of the Fed and with more people waking up to its rapings, will be garnering attention. Paul Ryan - young, smart, savvy, Conservative. DeMint, consistent Conservative and not afraid to buck the trend or Party. Romney, business experience. Pence - Governor run/VP/Presidential run, he's planning something as he gave up his House position.
People, finally, are starting to wake up to abusive government from both parties. I love Palin, simply for the fact that she has turned politics on its side and has really changed the dynamics of things. I don't believe she can win, but I sure do believe that she will keep people a lot more tuned into the middle class and the abuses of big government than what they would be without her in the game!
