As the title says I carried the new Glock 26 in my purse today because they were out of the holster I wanted when we bought it. I'm not going to do that many more times. It felt like I had a brick hanging around my neck by the end of the day.
I used to carry a little 22 semi-auto years ago and stopped CC when the kids were in so many sports at school. I started leaving it in the car all the time. I've been traveling down to Louisville alot taking care of my elderly father, he and the hubby worry about me making the trip by myself, so I decided to upgrade guns and start carrying again. I don't remember noticing the little 22 much at all, but I can say I sure noticed the Glock yesterday. I see a new holster in my very near future.
The Glock weighs 699 grams or 24.6 oz or 1lb 8.6 oz, depending on how you want to say it with a full magazine. Can any of you ladies tell me what you carry, how much it weighs and how you carry it? I saw on other threads, that some of you purse carry too. I wanted to put my purse in the seat of the grocerry cart yesterday but decided that wouldn't be a good idea. So if I'm going to be to anxious to put my purse down anywhere, I might as well have the Glock attached to my hip instead, though I'd much rather have it totally concealed.
What are your suggestions?
