Onside kick question. If your up 8 points with 24 seconds left to go, couldn't you line up so that none of the players contact the ball and wait for the kicking team to touch it and take possession from there?

Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck.

Let's all look in the mirror and say it three times, like saying Biggie Smalls. All this pain will pass, when we can draft the QB of the future to study under Manning for a few years.

Yes, kickoffs are diff than punts. The ball is live after traveling 10 yards.

Even if the Colts have the first pick next year, I don't see them taking Andrew Luck unless Manning can never play again.

Luck will be a starter somewhere right away. He's not going to want to toil as a backup to Manning for a couple of years.

So kickoffs are different than punts in that regard?

Yes, but only if the ball goes 10 yards. If kicking team touches it before the 10 yards, it's a penalty. Once it reaches the 10 yards, it's up for grabs.

On punts, the recieving team can stay clear. On punts though, if A fair catch is signaled for, the recieving team does have to catch it or get clear. Even if a fair catch is signaled, the recieving team can not muff it. If it is, the ball is alive.

Wont matter, Seattles getting him lol

Wouldn't Seattle have to win less than zero games to beat Indy out for the first pick?

Brady just became the 6th player ever to throw 400+ yards in back to back games. Curious to who the other 5 are. Surely Peyton is in there. If the Pats have a weakness, it'd definitely be there defense. They're definitely giving up a lot of yards.

Manning is in there, right above Marino IIRC.

I figured he had to be. They said the 6 all time bit but didn't mention who the others were.

I still think it's a little worrisome for NE to be putting up those kinds of numbers and the games being as close as they are.

Look at them flee the stadium!

Ir$ay has got to being going nuts. All those people leaving early means fewer sales in the stadium, meaning fewer money in his pocketbook. They just interviewed the owner of Blue Crew Sports Grill. This is the restaurant that is pretty much based solely on the Colts. They are worried about business falling off if the team starts having losing seasons. That is one hell of a business gamble when a good % of the fan base are fair weather fans who jumped on a bandwagon.

Another thing is they have showed two younger kids now, about seven or eight years old on the news. Of course both of these boys looked sad and upset. Someone on one of the Colts forum pointed out that these younger kids don't know a Colts team that sucks. One person pointed out how when he was their age, he couldn't even watch the Colts on TV due to blackouts...had to listen to the radio. Talk about a reality check for the younger generation. If the Pacers can mount a good comeback, fans will flocked to them and dump the Colts.
