Just saw this at the Brownsburg Walmart this afternoon
As I was standing there looking at the sign one of the managers came over to me and started talking to me about his favorite local gun store
We had a pleasant little chat about our favorite store Bradis.
Anyways I just figured I would share this little discovery with my local Brownsburg fellows

Good timing on their part. With Obama embarking on a personal nationwide tour starting Nov 7 2012 to confiscate all guns and ammo, sales should really be good! :D

Glad to see the sign. Yes, it will need manned by someone with knowledge. The dude in the wheelchair (his name slips my mind right now) is a good candidate. I've talked to him several times and seems to know what is going on. This is a step in the right direction.

The closest one to me, N Keystone, barely has a sporting goods dept so I doubt they will ever get guns. :(

Glad to hear that they're making the right choice. If they're organized and actually have someone there to help customers it'll be great.

That's the $64,000 question!:): But it is good that they respond to their customers wishes, I'll give em that.

I doubt if they are listening to their customers, more likely they're seeing how much money there is to be made in the firearms market. More and more pro-gun legislation is being approved and they saw the rush on the market when obama got elected.

No I'm sure it's purely profit driven.

The same on Evansville's east side WM. It's been over a month since I've been in there though, so I just may have to stop in and see if there's anything new going on.

    Cool deal,
Now hopefully Avon will do the same

When I go to the Avon Wally Mart for ammo I have one of two experiences: If there is a clerk in sporting goods I get my ammo and am on my way in 5 minutes or less. If not I have had to wait for as much as 20 minutes to get in the case, usually they show up just as I am giving up and getting ready to walk out.

Well, WM doesn't make hardly anything off firearms sales...they sell right at or just above cost in most cases. You can make the arguement that the "profit driven" is due to trying to drive traffic and make money off other things you buy when buying the gun, but not for the gun sales themselves.
