So I watched it last night, watched a guy pay 10k for a piece of drilling pipe and a fence post.

I loved the pipe cap on the rear. maybe they were charging 10k for their labor ??

I thought that punt gun was insanely priced. Hell they built a nearly custom SA cowboy gun for some preacher for the same money.

Funny I thought the same thing, who in their right mind would pay 10K for a fence post and a piece of pipe?
I also thought the 1911 was over priced at 3500.00

What whiffed me off, was that he walks in with a beautiful varmint rifle and they tell him that it's only worth about 250 bucks because it has a thumbhole stock. And those have to be "custom fitted to the customer so they're hard to sell" What a load of horse crap!! But "ohh wait since your ex- military I'll be gracious and offer you 500 bucks in trade, on a gun that I'm charging you a 1000 bucks to much for.

And the pipe cap, well I'm guessing that when you build stuff that crappy then a large amount of the 10K is spent paying for liability insurance. I was sitting here saying, "they need to thread the inside of that pipe and build a breech plug". Or why not use that fancy mill they have and machine a receiver that looks similar to the old fashion punt guns. Not hack it up with black iron pipe caps and machine gun handles.


And yeah Paige is hot, but I really don't need Paris Hilton wannabees selling me a gun.

But I'll still watch because I mean after all, Paige is HOT.

I agree the punt gun was an absolute joke. I would have been embarassed to put my name on that junk. Oh wait I forgot they did put a fancy paint job on it, that I thought looked like crap. Show is total garbage, just like all the other reality crap on tv. Throw a few good looking women on the show and all the sudden people do not care if it is crap. These shows are usually only good the first season, once the popularity hits and people flock to the shops, it goes down hill as they try to one up themselves.

I actually like the show. It's better than most of the competitors.

Plus, Rich Wyatt is a very strong supporter of the individual right to keep and bear arms. He came into the public eye when he was a police chief in one of those little towns in Colorado near Columbine who had the guts to state unequivocally that if someone on the scene had been armed and able to defend, many lives would have been saved.

And, of course, the mom and daughter are hot.

I saw that picture but I was not 100% sure it was legit. Her head looks to small and possibly pasted on.

I also would not let my daughters hand that out. But there are many out there that would because it is all about the money.
