During the after vote whining I kept hearing this 90% number. Does anybody know where this "poll" came from?

This number is really relative to who they asked the question and how they asked. The funny thing is, this morning while driving to work one of the news stories was saying how support for ubc and other gun controls had fallen since their high the first of the year when support was at a whopping 59% and now it was down to 49%.

The antis have changed the story so many times that they can't even keep the figures right anymore.

Bold QFT - On any of it ... every time one of them says stuff they contradict the one before and after.

I heard a news program discussing it the other day and I don't remember the exact numbers or which news report it was but the 90% number was actually based on a grand total of about 400 responses. The actual poll was done several years ago during the original AWB process and it sounds so impressive that they continue to use it.

See, here's what I don't get. Everyone is calling for writing and calling in order to get him to support us. Then, when he does, his motives are questioned.

    That seems a little ridiculous.

The reason there are those of us who doubt his motives is because he voted for Manchin-Toomey. That was the one that had the best chance of passing. When it failed it was all the excuse he needed to vote no on the rest to cover his own butt.

Also Pi$$es me off to see the news ticker on CNN that's Say's " Obama say's shameful day in Washington DC after vote on Gun Control.
The shameful day was when they protected the Attorney General after he allowed a firearms sting operation to get out of control and cost the life of a US Border Patrol officer !
