Kidding, of course. Unless we liberated the poor souls who are forced to live in such horrid conditions and left the leader(s) behind. I feel bad for the citizens as they know nothing else and are brainwashed.

The TV news just quoted John McCain as saying that if the U.S. does not respond to the North Korean Hackers, that it sends a message that we will "Knuckle under to bad actors".

Is he talking about Kim Jong Un...............or Seth Rogan?

Woah, what in the actual hell?

Paramount Bans Screenings Of 'Team America: World Police' | The Playlist

So, now Paramount is banning theaters from screening "Team America, World Police"? Both companies stand to make a lot of money by moving forward with the screenings. Sony could literally be missing out on one of the highest grossing film releases now after all this hype and talk, I don't even care about the movie and would not have watched it in theaters to being with but now I feel like it's my patriotic duty to watch the damn thing, assuming it is ever released... as do many others.

Grow some balls, sheesh. What are they honestly afraid of? Makes me wonder if there is a legitimate threat and they're being asked to not screen these or what.

I just hate to think that we're giving in to demands of terrorists.

    And for "Red Dawn" (2011)...nuthin'

...although you may recall that that movie was delayed because the bad guys were originally Chinese, then China made a stink and the bad guys were digitally altered to be North Koreans.

Yes, I remember, and I was angry at that.

Some delicious irony can't be overlooked.....

Hollywood actors are coming out and having a ****fit about suppression of the 1st Amendment in silencing this movie..........

Hey Hollywood, you know how you like to support suppression of the 2nd Amendment?

It sucks when they get to something you support doesn't it?

    :+1:

True, but they also stand to lose a LOT if something bad were to actually happen at a screening.

Like what, exactly? Even Obummer told people they were investigating the threats but to "Go to the movies".

What do they stand to lose? Millions of dollars and PR. I'm not agreeing, I'm just saying I'm sure they weight their options

Color me skeptical. Specifically, a shade of silvery tin foil.

I would sooner believe Chinese hackers supporting DPRK goals, but maybe that's too nuanced.

    Ironicalness alert:
Source: Hackers send new message to Sony - Dec. 19, 2014

The hacker message is effectively a victory lap, telling the studio, "Now we want you never let the movie released, distributed or leaked in any form of, for instance, DVD or piracy."

Let me get this straight. A group of hackers that previously hacked, stole and distributed unreleased movies (as sucky as they may have been) are now demanding that Sony not allow that to happen, to this specific movie?

That's really kinda bizarre to me.

Hey, if you use DOS compression, you can nearly double the capacity of that disk to 2.88 mb.

Even if you don't, you only need 15 of them to play a decent game.
