    Cause I want them

    Different barrel lengths

    Different calibers

They're some awesome receivers and rails on the market and it's cool to diversify

I like the design of one AR verses another (direct impingement vs piston)

    Boredom

    and cause

For me, that about sums it up

The bigger question is why wouldn't you if you like AR's. Why do you need more than one handgun it is not the need it is the want. I have one AR if I had the money I would have it in a 308 also. Do I need it no do I want it yes. The liberal side of it is why would you even want one. If I had the money I would have an AK also don't need it I just want one. JMO

You don't! You will never even use the second one and it's just taking up room in your safe. I will pay the shipping if you want to send your second one to my FFL.

Serious question. Why do you need 2 AR's?

While I do believe everyone should own a rifle of some sort, why would one need 2, or more?

Why do you need 2 of anything? Vehicles? Pairs of shoes? Computers?

Maybe it was a really good deal, maybe it serves a different purpose, maybe you just like building them in different configurations. :dunno:

Two is one and one is none. :D

One rifle set up for varminting... one set up for bigger game.

One rifle set up for competing / training... and one set up for varminting.

One machine gun and one for long-range competition.

    Myriad reasons.

Me? I only have a stripped lower and a stripped upper.

I get constantly bombarded with this question from my wife.... I have no good answer. I just like assembling them, so each has a special meaning around a certain time in my life.... though I am running out of room on my AR shelf in my safe....

I only own one currently that's set up as a Tac Optics 3-gun rifle - 18" barrel w/ comp., 1-4 scope, rifle length stock, pretty heavy gun. I'd like at least one more, set up to run limited class (irons or 1x red dot). That could probably be just an upper, but I would also like another complete rifle for just fun/defense/SHTF with an adjustable stock and much lighter. So there, I need 3. :)

First off, this is America. If you want a rifle you shouldn't have to question yourself on why or how many so long as you're not negatively affecting anyone elses life liberty or pursuit of happiness.

Personally, I like knowing that I have an AR in the house that my wife is familiar with. That one guards the castle ans stays put. I like having one in my truck, because I'm a free man who likes to have a rifle ready in the event a opportunity to go casually shooting with friends pops up, maybe I get a chance at a ground hog or other varmint, and maybe I like to tell democrats that I've got more guns and ammo in my truck than I carried in the war, and that it's all 100% legal and then look into their freedom hating eyes and see the tears start to form.

That's just two of the reasons I need an AR-15's. There's more........ :) Freedom baby!
