Steep hill at the Badlands. Had sandy mud all up it so it was real slick. When you see me fail the first try, that was without the lockers. Once I hit both locker switches we were golden. Then we used the truck as a winch anchor for my buddy who's Jeep did not have lockers.

Not many people seem interested in off roading? It's like I have my own private thread...

Well, here I go again. Went camping in the Red River Gorge area of the Danial Boone National Forrest weekend before last with a couple guys from Indiana Overlanders. Beautiful area. Cliffs for rock climbers, trails for hiking, several unmaintained roads for some interesting 4x4 driving. Even the narrow "paved" roads are interesting as they twist through the rugged mountains.

Great pics and video! Lockers make a HUGE difference, for sure. When I was in Moab, they not only made climbs easy, but they also were the difference between a lot of tire spin and no tire spin at all. That reduces the chance for cutting a tire or having chunks torn out of them.

I'd like to know exactly where you were in the RR Gorge area. That looks like a great place to explore. Keep the pics coming! Your truck looks like a great rig, too!

Went offroading for my first time at the Badlands! Went with Mango Tango, only got stuck once.
