Cool
I'll watch this thread to be sure it's GTG. (Just remembered my login...it's been years)
Thanks again
Matt
Are you going to PM those of us attending with an address?
Just so I know what to tell the wife, about how late will we be shooting?
Thanks, Matt
To be honest I'm not really sure. It just depends on how long it takes everyone to get through their targets and how many show up. Sorry wish I could I could tell ya more.
**** Well I finally got back to the range a while ago and got it all weeds and grass cut. I will say it looks like we're gonna miss the rain for Saturday if the weather holds out like their predicting. On the flip side its super muddy in some spots walking back to the backstop. Ive put some wood down to try and keep everyone from having to completely get muddy, but just be prepared on the day of the shoot to were some old boots or even better rubber boots. Sorry everyone normally by this time of the year everything has already dried up by now, but not the case this year!****
How many are you expecting at this point?
Who cares about a little mud, it will dry and brush off or wash off. Thank you for the warning though, but it sure isn't going to deter me from shooting. Heck a little rain wouldn't even deter me.
I finally was able to get out today and zero my replacement scope that came last week. My groups would be acceptable if not for one flier in each group. Not sure what was up, but I do know I couldn't keep a consistent solid position. This bipod shooting is harder than I thought it would be. I'm used to riding the recoil and the rifle coming right back to the same place. Resetting your position each time is tedious.
I know that no sleds are alowed which is completely fine by me, I wouldnt use one anyway. but what is ok for a front shooting rest? I have an adjustable front rest that I would use if allowed
Really looking forward to this, and glad the rains are backing off for Saturday. Mud isn't a problem. Will be using a bag rest front and rear. Shooting the Savage 10P-SR which is pretty much stock.
