All I have to say is that someone has to decide on a chant, theme, whatever.

We've got "Hands up, Don't shoot" and "I can't breathe" battling for T-shirt and poster supremacy, but frankly neither one has panache.

Johnny Cochran, oh how we miss you.

While I generally agree, I think "Hands up, don't shoot" has some future potential. It has that "Tastes great, less filling" vibe.

Give me liberty, or give me marketing.

I see the melodic nature of the chant, but it has the downside of having every thinking person who care about, ya know, facts...rolling their eyes.

Pretty good payday for a guy selling loose cigarettes for a living. You would also have some substantial comparative fault on his side.

Sooo, the family got money from the city and the hospital...and yet the esteemed Rev. Sharpton was quoted as saying "we didn't march and build a movement just to get money".

Sharpton was completely truthful. They marched and built a movement to get money AND ACCUMULATE POLITICAL LEVERAGE FOR THEMSELVES.

Source says the NYPD Feds ain't happy.
NYPD Feds? You mean the FBI/DOJ NYC Office? Then yes, they should be upset. They were tasked with a job, they did their job, and now Washington over ruled their findings. Why bother to ask them in the first place if you were not going to stand by them. This reeks of politics.
