My anecdotal account indicates turnout is about the same as it usually is. We live in a small precinct and usually don't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes to vote. Same today. Here in Lawrence county, there are virtually 0 Hillary signs---I've probably seen more Johnson signs than Hillary's. It seems I see more Gregg signs than Holcomb. See a few Trey Hollingsworth signs but virtually 0 Yoder signs. Bayh vs Young signs---probably about equal, maybe more Bayh's.

Voted. When I signed in I noticed my dad's name still on the rolls. Now being a nice guy I pointed he had moved away and should be removed from the current rolls. The lady (small town, knows who I am) informed me that my dad must not have registered to vote where he now lives or his name would not still be on the voter rolls.

My dad voted TODAY. He moved over 10 years ago and I'm pretty sure he has not missed an election. But the poll workers know much more than me.

But they've already started to blame everyone else. Nothing you say or do will change that. You and I may see them (and Trump) as the reason that Clinton is going to win, but they'll always see it as the media/"nevertrump"/GOP let Clinton win. It will never be their fault, or Trump's fault.

And then we'll all keep being *******s to each other.

Might want to put everybody else on ignore a little sooner, like now

Trump will have 3 out of every 5 votes, but will still lose. I totally believe the system is rigged. Too much money being thrown around, plus she has too much power.

Ok. Have you ever worked in government, in a behind-the-scenes kind of way?

    So, that's really not true.

I mean, Obamacare is a big domestic policy accomplishment for him. (You and I can both agree that it is terrible, both in conception and execution, but that doesn't change the fact that he accomplished it.)

There are dozens of other things he's done, mostly poorly, that would count.

And that's what you get when you let an amateur play the big game.

By that logic, Gavrilo Princip could claim WWII as an 'accomplishment' while running for office

I would not believe anything Slate puts out. Attempts to squash votes

when numerous republican contenders refuse to campaign for the nominee and all living former republican presidents vote for Hillary perhaps we CAN blame the establishment

Against a candidate like Hillary, no. If the election were against the same candidate, I'd agree. But even if milquetoast Romney ran and won the GOP nomination, he SHOULD beat a known criminal compared to 0bama. Given Hillary's baggage, it would take a monumental loser to lose to that. This is a different election with different candidates and incomparable. Any of the top GOP candidates in the primary should beat Hillary. I think even Carly would have given Hillary a run for her money, and she had some serious credibility issues.

That seems an awful lot like claiming that the Colts could have beat Denver in last years big dance (exemplar only, not claiming you're a Colts fan). You have to make it to the finals to have a chance to win it all

Not sure, but I did notice that the Infinity voting machines in use at my voting precinct are made right here in Indy. Not sure what they are using elsewhere? Must be made in one of the 5 counties in this state that will vote Blue.
Where I voted, they were too using Infinity Microvote machines.Made in Indy. They suppose to have battery back-up incase of power failure. They only check them in the morning and pull the numbers in the evening. There is no paper printout.Only the totals for the day. They count how many signed in and compare it to the total votes at the end.Another county which is always Democratic.

The 2016 Election Has Been the Final Battle of the Obama War - NBC News

    In an unrelated note.
I made a promise to Jesus Christ that I would treat every person as He would .

I hope I have treated everyone here with respect even if I disagreed with what they have posted.

If not, I ask forgiveness from you because you are a person and I love you.

I ask Jesus to forgive me if I have in any way offended Him or another person which, in the understanding of ancient Christianity, are not 2 distinct sins but are one both in act and essence.

Beautiful sentiment, foszoe, I agree wholeheartedly.

    (Mostly...you know. :) )
