The Democrat party of the time you're speaking, was a conservative body. And I figured that I would've been confronted with this picture well earlier than now. I viewed this instance, based on Roof's thoughts in his manifesto, as him being frustrated with America, and hating what it had become in his mind. At least that's my opinion based on collective illustration of who Roof is, rather than a snapshot at specific instance in time. One instance does not make the exception.

Take for instance Lenin, he opposed the Russian Monarchy. He would have, at that time, been considered "liberal." However after the Communist system he implemented was installed without challenge, his views by the mid 50s would have been solidly conservative....by RUSSIAN standards. You follow?

Liberal is not the same as left, per se. Right/left paradigm just fails. And it seems that "right wing" now seems to mean anyone that centrists or left leaning people disagree with.

Ok, this picture from phone to website is still a bit strange to me. The top one was by me, the bottom one was when my wife drove by. I got flipped off 13 times but only 1 was on the overpass, the other 12 were driving under. I'd say 100:1 positive.
