    I'm guessing this...

Those people also prove the point I've made before. If you are one of the "selected", you get away with posting whatever you feel like, even though it's deemed inappropriate for the others.
Look at all of the personal attacks, but continue, please. You are "selected".

I just want to know what was in his sig. It was removed by the mods (or auto removed due to shooter) so it must have been juicy.

I dont see a problem with him offering up his plaque. He JUMPED past the line of decency when he push forward with his graphic, as if we would all fall down and worship it.

Was it nice? Yep. As nice as what LM built all things considered within the context of the art piece? (love trumps craftsmanship here) Absolutely not. I'll take the handmade "crap" cards* my kids worked hard to make that are hanging on my wall over some machine produced hallmark crap. Too bad Ballistix didnt understand that concept.

*And I have yet to find a hallmark card with an entire load of staples driven through the perimeter to the point when you shake the card it rattles like a flat tamborine. :):

I'll just leave at what I already posted.

Nah, the context is important. If I'm in the middle of being an *******, and I tell someone to **** all the way off (I'm totally stealing that, btw) I should expect mods would come down hard on me. But if someone else is acting like a total jackass, especially to a good friend, and I tell the jackass to **** off, I'd maybe expect mods might react to that but it seems reasonable that the focus would be primarily on the jackass. So what I'm saying, you're most likely to be treated with respect if you treat others with respect. But if you're acting like a jackass, the attention will be primarily on YOU.

Ehhh...that's not the angle from which I think he was commenting. But since I wasn't sure, that's why I asked him to if he was willing to elaborate.

A point i wish to make in all of this.
As stated already there were past remarks etc to be considered.
Also, this was a not a political thread.
    Not a thread on abortion.
Religion (past the love of God and family) was not the point of that thread.
Some threads are put out there for discussion. Pure and simple. Opinions welcome.
Not threads like that. I would no more critic an act of love then I would smart off to my mother. Both are out of line on any level. That our boy thought there were favorites being played is just so far off the mark.
We have a list (I do) of the usual suspects. When you see them posting in certain threads it is a "Must go look" thing. I will either be amazed, entertained or be forced to go back a page or two and see if there is issues.
When the membership reports we go look.

    Nuff said.

Mybe not. But he said that the last post was accurat. The last post was about perceived bias that it's okay for "selected" people to break the rules. The only example I could find close to breaking the rules is Chez saying "**** all the way off."

But like I said, it's pretty natural for the mods' focus to be on the jackass. I'm not going to complain about that.

    Approaching scary good.

I may or may not be kissing a$$ or being honest. ;)

    Hey, I'm scared.

But at least I learned a new modification of "**** off" tonight. Not just **** off, but how much? All the way off. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I wish I'd grow up someday.

Yeah. I always assumed if you really wanted someone to **** off, you'd expect it to be understood to **** all the way off. I guess I never realized there were degrees to which one might **** off. If you don't learn something on INGO everyday, you're just not paying atttention.

That is the absolute extreme level of the term. You can not be ****ed off any more than all the way.

It could be an issue of mood. I think I'd break it up into quarters of the way. So if I'm just mildly annoyed it'd be only a quarter of the way off.

Hmmm... Could be, I suppose. I've just never heard someone tell someone else "go **** 1/4 of the way off". But then again, I've led a relatively sheltered life. :D
