As I said before, that as long as people misrepresent the reason why they players are kneeling, I will support their protest.

Maybe if they acted more like they're protesting the thing they're protesting, and in the proportion that is actually supportable by the evidence, and in a way that's not divisive, that doesn't **** on people, it would be easier to believe it's for the reason they say. When they act like there's more to it, it kinda makes people suspect that there's more to it.

And like I said. I don't think they hate America. Or you.

Well, you are wrong. And you're understanding of Malcom X appears to be limited. Further I disagree that these protests are "ALL about Kaepernick's activism." He did start the practice, but players did not continue to kneel because of him. He's not some sort of pied piper that people are blindly following without understanding the issues. There may be some, but certainly not all. I understand that there are those that just want to see him tap dance and show his teeth, but he ain't Kanye. But I get it Darkies need to stay in their place.

Kut (wonders if he'll see the double standard applied)

    You got that from jamil?

    Wow

ETA: Your frequent use of that page in the playbook when your argument falls apart is probably taking a toll on the binding.
I can rebind that for you if you want to stop by.
I have comb binding, staple and perfect binding available.

Jets boss breaks rank: I’ll pay the anthem fines

This'll make this year just as entertaining as last year, watching the NFL fail.

Wonder which news outlet, website or social media location will be tracking the kneelers this year? Anyone got a link?

When does the NFL preseason start? Any chance of other sports copy catting the NFL player's attempt to run themselves into the unemployment line?

Too late NFL. I haven't missed it and don't see it changing. They're obviously losing money and I hope it continues. Two years is far too long to react to this situation. As mentioned previously in the thread the players will just find another bull**** way to anger the true Americans.

I think the Jets will just be the first to knuckle under to the players and agree to pay the fines. After all most of then are afraid of the thugs they have working for them.

A non-violent display, where one takes a knee in protest... and yet they're labeled "thugs?" I have no idea why those guys earned that monicker. None at all.

Like some others have said. I won't be watching again this year. Like much of the entertainment industry, the NFL has decided rather than putting a good product on the field, they needed to dabble in political causes. The kneeling isn't the thing that forced my hand to stop watching. It was the last thing.

It's completely valid to vote with your dollars when dealing with a company that you do not like the product. The NFL player's protests were ill-advised. They could've found other avenues to bring attention to the their concerns. However (and you're not doing this), to vilify them as criminals, due to a nonviolent legal act? Nope, that's not going to fly.
