yeah I know - that has been the undoing of the Hogeyes this year (*and every other year*)

they get a late score and leave too much time on the clock for the other team.

It was sorta epic, lot's and lot's a head whacking beat-'em-up football....Big10 style.

It was reminiscent of the game @ Lucas for the championship a few years back. Hawks v Spartans.

Same MO -- epic last drive for Sparty and we lose.

They played their hearts out - much like Nebraska against OSU. I thought they might catch 'em...but

Thanks for letting me cry on yo' shoulder, H45

Believe me, as a Boiler fan, I am used to that ending differently.

Doddg : you need no step away from the S/W 22A multiples and get into the Ruger 22/45 Lite with a Pic rail for a red dot. It'll out shoot those Smith's everytime.

I know - because I replaced my 22/A with one and I never looked back.

    YMMV...

    Totally.

    1. What? Why am I just hearing about this! Oh no!
    2. Thanks for the input: I do appreciate it! I have no problem with giving another .22LR semi-auto a trial in my hands.
    3. I have two Ruger Mark 4, will either of them do?
    4. I prefer the heavier and not the "Lite" version of guns, which is why I got away from polymer .22LR semi-autos.
    I have:
    Ruger 22/45 40107
    convert

and the RUGER Ruger Mark IV Target 40101
    convert

    You are suggesting:
Ruger 22/45 Lite with a Pic rail
    convert

Take some time and focus on that Model 41 of yours before chasing other 22 pistols so similar to what you already have/had.

Just my two cents but the 41 can be a real rock star.

If I would have you buy anything, it would be a nice bolt action rifle with a good scope so you could practice dime size groups at 50 yards.
